Data we process, purposes, and legal bases
- Server request logs. When the Site serves a page, a third-party hosting provider automatically records request metadata, including your IP address, request date and time, the resource requested, HTTP status, your user-agent string, and any referring URL. Purpose: operating and securing the Site and diagnosing technical problems. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in Site security and availability (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Email correspondence. If you email hello@lexicon-labs.net, we process your email address, message, and anything you include. Purpose: handling and responding to your correspondence and keeping it as a business record. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in handling enquiries and maintaining records (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients
Server logs are processed by our third-party hosting provider acting as our processor. Email is processed by our third-party email provider acting as our processor.
International transfers
The Site is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, the data above is processed in the United States.
Retention
Server logs are retained for the limited operational and security window applied by our hosting provider, then rotated out. We retain email correspondence as part of our business records and do not routinely delete it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability regarding your personal data. Children
The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
